 | Nigel Wilcock is Managing Director of Mickledore. Nigel has 20 years experience in regeneration and economic development and was previously Regional Development Director for Ernst & Young. Prior to Ernst & Young, Nigel worked for the North West Development Agency and Deloitte. Nigel is a graduate economist and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as the Institute of Economic Development. His experience is in leading large scale regeneration and economic development projects and he has done this both nationally and internationally. In the UK he has worked on assignments for every RDA as well as national and local government. Nigel has a particular specialism in European State Aid and also advises corporate clients on public sector funding opportunities.

 | Liz Demaison is a Senior Consultant , with over 20 years experience in economic development including inward investment and tourism. She has worked for organisations ranging from RDAs to Local Authority partnerships, including most recently MIDAS (Manchester inward investment agency) and the North West Development Agency. Liz has extensive experience of developing and implementing economic development strategies. She also has a strong background in facilitating public and private sector engagement, particularly in skills and employment. Liz is a native French speaker and has been involved in both English and French speaking engagements. She is a member of the Institute of Economic Development. |
 | David Cundy focuses on our state aid and grant funding work. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has 20 years experience in the provision of public sector funding and state aid. Prior to joining, David led the public sector advisory business of Ernst & Young. David’s background is in corporate finance and he brings a wealth of commercial business and state aid experience to the team. His recent work has included major public sector initiatives to support companies such as General Motors, BAE Systems and Lloyds Banking Group.

 | Richard Jeffrey concentrates on our organisation development initiatives. Richard holds a Unilever MBA and has a corporate background having worked for Tesco, Carlsberg-Tetley and Maersk Airlines before joining the senior management team of Unilever. Richard has a huge amount of experience in creating high performing teams and now concentrates on large change programmes within public sector organisations and also on staff development. Richard has recently worked extensively with the Department for Business Innovation and Skills as well as Scottish Enterprise and Shell plc.

 | Jackie Burns leads on our regeneration activity. Jackie is a Chartered Accountant with a specialism in property development and regeneration funding. Jackie was formerly Finance Director of Portman Estates and has also worked for Allied London Properties, Minerva Plc, Blue Circle Industries and Hampton Trust Plc. Her recent project work has included the development of regeneration strategies and funding models for Masdar (Abu Dhabi), Glasgow Commonwealth Games on behalf of Laing O’Rourke, Olympic Delivery Authority, British Land and MIDAS.
